Save Our Schools Program
How would you like to add $1,000. to $5,000. OR MORE To Your Sports and Recreation Program Budget WITHIN TWO WEEKS?
In honor of “The Old Coach”, Larry Folloni*, an 86 year old retired Athletic Director and four sport high school coach, including three Mass. State Championship Basketball Teams, Deep Energy Productions and Red Moon Distributors are making a total of $200,000.00 in promotional sales receipts available to the first (40) New England schools and Public Recreation & Little League / Soccer, Summer Camp or similar youth sports programs to participate in an easy, fun and lucrative fundraising promotion.
With the impending end of the school year, this might not seem like the best of times for a fundraiser, but with our assistance and a few hours of dedicated adult direction and support, qualifying groups can, within days, turn a large profit for use this season or to carry over for the next one.
How To Qualify
All non-profit primary and secondary school, church and community based sports and recreation programs in New England, including Soccer & Little Leagues, are eligible to participate. Notices will be sent out to up to 1,800 eligible groups.
We will allocate promotional initiative revenues on a first to register, first to qualify basis to the first 40 programs that contact us by email at SaveOurSchoolSports@TheItsPossibleTeam.com , or phone 1-888-SOX-2004. (We'll remove this from our Website when the program is fully subscribed to.) IN ORDER TO FULLY QUALIFY, ORGANIZERS MUST COMMIT TO HAVING THE YOUTH PARTICIPANTS THEMSELVES INVOLVED IN THE FUNDRAISER. When it is properly introduced to them, (and we can help you with this), the kids love being involved with this unique project.
Fund allocations will accommodate all promotional items distributed by participants before August 1, 2005. Feel free to contact us to see if your group is eligible to participate.
RESERVING A PLACE IN THE FIRST 40 GROUPS TO QUALIFY DOES NOT OBLIGATE YOUR GROUP TO PARTICIPATE, BUT IT DOES GUARANTEE ITS ABILITY TO PARTICIPATE BEFORE THE DEADLINE OR FULL FUND ALLOCATION
How the "Save Our Schools Program" Fundraiser Works
With just a few hours of Responsible Adult Project Coordination time, qualifying schools or groups should be able to raise $1,000.00 to $5,000.00 OR MORE within a couple of weeks!
Other than coordination time, there's no investment besides getting a large group of kids to each spend a couple of hours offering to their friends, families and neighbors the very entertaining and unique Musical Tribute to the 2004 World Series Champion BOSTON RED SOX, called “ The It's Possible Team ”.
This G-rated, smash musical celebration of our Champs includes 4 Grammy Award Winners and other great artists, and will appeal to Sox fans of all ages with “Soxified” R&B, Oldies, Classic Rock, Hip Hop, Latin Beat, Bluegrass & Zydeco songs. Everyone who listens to the CD loves at least several songs. THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND FUN AND INSPIRATIONAL PRODUCT. THESE ARE ALL FIRST RATE QUALITY SONGS ABOUT THE RED SOX, PAST AND PRESENT.
THE CD IS MADE AVAILABLE ON CONSIGNMENT ONLY, SO NO MONEY IS AT RISK. The first groups to sign up qualify for a special promotional discount that will yield $5.00 /CD sold for their program. 200 players x 5 of these fabulous memorabilia items x $5.00 equals $5,000.00! You'd be amazed how easy it is for a kid to sell 5 of these to family and friends. (And, if you want us to help you to actively promote it through introductory meetings with participants and by coordinating local TV, Radio and Print Media Coverage, perhaps we could see results like 200 players x 10 of these items x $5.00 equals $10,000 .00!!!) |
We will provide groups with CD's on Consignment for concession stand and on-field sales and printed materials for the kids to use in selling it to friends, family and neighbors. All participants are encouraged to listen to the CD, and to have their family buy one.
Any participant that sells (10) CD's will get one free.
Each participant will get a sign up sheet for CD buyers, and a stack of 4x6 descriptive cards to leave with prospective customers and customers.
Money will be collected from the customers in advance, and when all the funds are turned in, the Project Coordinator can place an order with Red Moon Distributors for the number of CD's they have sold.
Your group will collect the normal retail price of $10.00 for each CD sold, $5.00 of which is to be remitted to RED MOON DISTRIBUTORS. A promotional discount of $5.00 (more than the amount that would normally go to retailers) remains with your group.
As with any fundraiser, whether selling cd's, cakes, cookies or carwashes, the group is responsible to comply with legal regulations.
CD's will be shipped first class, C.O.D., so that participants can immediately deliver the CD's to the purchasers after your promotion is finished. Your group is responsible to make sure that all purchasers receive the goods that they have paid for.
We recommend that the major promotion only run for one week, two at the most. Extra CD's can be left on consignment for residual sales / concession booth sales.
Extra CD's can be made available for special events like parades or tournament games. Artist appearances may also be arranged.
In some cases, we can provide the consignment CD's in advance.
NEWS FLASH: Red Moon Distributors will work with you to get local TV, radio and newspaper support for your fundraiser! And in some cases, we can send a representative to help you get organized. We've been getting more and more radio play and TV and newsprint features on our project, so you should be able to cash in on the success.

*Coach Folloni, author of “ My Way, The Memoirs of Coach Larry Folloni,”was born just after the Boston Red Sox won the World Series in 1918, and while he was growing up, the organized sports programs for youth were minimal. That's why he dedicated his career to helping them to flourish in his hometown of Bridgewater , Massachusetts and for 13 years as Chairman of The (Athletic) Rules Committee for the Mass. State Secondary Schools Principal's Association. It broke his heart to learn from his successor that so many Schools and towns in New England, have had to drastically cut back their sports programs, and more disappointingly yet, that in some cases discriminatory user fees have come into use. Coach Folloni strongly believes that it's not right that just when our Sox are getting back to their winning ways, youth ports and recreation programs throughout the Sox Nation are winding wayward. That's why he came up with the idea of a “SAVE OUR SCHOOL SPORTS” program last fall. And he has worked with us to find this tangible way to help those who want to seize a great opportunity to help their youth sports programs, while continuing the celebration our World Champs and their message of faithful sportsmanship
